Hi, I’m Carmela, owner of You me we create.
Creativity, connection and community have shaped my career for nearly three decades. I have studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts, exhibited in many local and national exhibitions, relished the experience of spending the past seven years as an Early Childhood Educator and spent what feels like many lifetimes enjoying the thrill of owning and operating cafés, bars and art galleries.
What’s common about this chosen career path is the passion I inherently have for creating welcoming spaces where people feel inspired, included and at home.
You me we create is my latest adventure. I believe creativity is for everyone—not just artists—and that making, learning and connecting can build confidence, encourage wellbeing and strengthen community.
You me we create has been created as an inclusive place for all ages and abilities to explore, create and belong. Whether you’re here to learn a new skill, spend mindful time for yourself, or connect with others, you’re warmly welcome. I can’t wait to create with you.
Our philosophy.
You me we create is an inclusive, welcoming creative hub designed to bring people of all ages together through meaningful artistic experiences. Offering creative experiences for primary school-aged children, teenagers, adults, seniors and children aged 3-5 years old when accompanied by an adult. The space celebrates creativity as a powerful tool for connection, wellbeing, self-expression and lifelong learning.
Our philosophy is centred on the belief that every person is inherently creative. Through a diverse range of hands-on workshops—including visual arts, craft, design, collaborative projects and creative making—we provide opportunities for participants to explore new skills, develop confidence and build authentic relationships within their community.

Sessions for school aged children are drop n’ go. So take an hour and half to yourself, we’ve got this!
After school sessions are available to be booked for the whole 10 week term.
All adult sessions come with complimentary tea and biccies!
At You Me We create, everything we create starts with intention. We use recycled & repurposed materials in our arts & crafts where possible, to help protect the planet for generations to come.

At You Me We create we will be doing a soft launch of sessions.
This means that straight away we will have available the ‘After school creation station’ sessions to book in 5 days a week. And the School Holiday Deep Dives.
